I try to extend my bean season into the Autumn by growing Dwarf French Beans in pots in my greenhouse. Not having any left of my usual variety - Tunner - I bought a packet of Purple Queen. Unfortunately they are hardly dwarf and do need support. They also succumbed to Botrytis so I didn't get much of a crop. But the taste is superb and texture are superb so I'm definitely growing this one outdoors next year.
