Look forward to hearing their comments about Elfe tigerburnie. I bet they've some useful recommendations for their own favourite spuds too.

I know a couple of tattie farmers, they both eat Roosters!!

I like Roosters, too, but I am still convinced Elfe are in a class apart.

I ran out of my own potatoes much earlier this year than last, so bought both Roosters and Elfes at Lidl. My money is with Elfe any day of the week. Astonishingly good spud, especially when baked. BTW, worth microwaving one for about 2-3 minutes and then crisping in the oven for 30 minutes - wonderful.

Also a great boiled potato, especially when skins are kept on.

I will have to give them a go must say I don't like roasters not my type of spud
