Garden Design by Kenneth Midgley, a Penguin Handbook. Fiction, what has stayed with me for many years from childhood, probably "Brendon Chase" by BB. Was adapted for ITV some time ago I think. 1920's Village Doctors three sons left in the care on an ancient and disliked great aunt abscond ...

Happymouse, ripped mine out Thursday as it was flowering, eaten at the size of a small oakleaf is best.
However even at the size I binned you can strip the new/smaller leaves up near the flowers. The smell of rocket is just so gorgeous, rich uuummmm. :D

Will be sowing some more this weekend I hope.

Un-equal tomato progress.

The tomatoes I ground planted in the greenhouse look a bit tall and etiolated, no flowers. The ones I potted and have not yet growbagged are stocky and have lots of flowers. I know the ones in pots are very confined, 3" pots, stood in a holeless tray for a sort of hydroponic effect. So why no f...

Sorry Tigger.

No quip, I cannot wear my favourite bright yellow T-shirt for gardening as it gets covered in bugs, the little black beetles found in daffodils adore it.

Chantal, if a PC engineer ever tells you its a problem with your wetware just hit him.

Not your swimsuit.

Hardware.

Firmware.
Wetware.

PC.
Programs.
Stuff on chips.
Your brain.

There is national law.
See http://www.communities.gov.uk/index.asp ... #P69_10508

IT problems....

Geoff di you ever hear the one about the helpdesk guy who (allegedly) got the sack for saying what we (IT'rs) have all wanted to say at least once? Customer rings up, "My PC won't work". Technician goes through all the normal stuff to no avail, with great customer skills and politeness. En...
