As stated by Geoff you have to be aware of what chemicals are being used, which can be difficult. Used to use neighbors cut grass until saw the gardener spraying something on it. Never had a dishwasher as we do it together one washes the other dries. No dirty left overs stuck on plates to worry about as this is taken care of by the dog. Was visiting friends in USA thought I would help out in the morning by washing up last nights dirty dishes, then found out they had a dishwa...

I too have Bosch silent type used it on brassicas/brussel stalks.

Evidently rats are social animals and like to eat together so a fellow plot holder is making a large 2ft x 2ft box for bait and see if it works.

Thank you all for feedback. Going to put chicken wire about foot deep around the tunnel. If that does not work may go to covering all the floor/growing space only issue digging it out and upsetting the no dig compost. I have had traps down but they just set them off without getting caught or go roun...

Have issue with rats in netted tunnel can see where they have chewed netting to gain access in a few places.
If I covered it with polytunnel sheeting would the rats still chew there way in?

Did bit of research and found they can burrow quite deep "A rat’s burrow is only usually 1 or 2 feet deep, but they will go down further if they need to." Also read lion poo is a deterrent as is lavender & mint. Thought about using humane rat trap that I used at home but as they could ...

Update on the tunnel got rid of the rabbit now nature cam is showing a rat has taken over.
