Cuttings.
I stuggle to get cuttings to strike.Does anyone have a well tried and trusted method of getting both soft and hard cuttings to take?I am looking to take Rosemary,Dianthus(Pinks) and Forsythia cuttings and would hope to get 50% to take.

Slow cooker is brilliant for batch cooking of which I do a lot.Provides me with a meal for that day and the extra divided up and frozen for another day.I even made rice pudding in it and it wasn't half bad.

Not a great fan of raised beds but if push came to shove and I had to garden that way because of health problems then I would consider using secondhand scaffolding boards.

Recipe for home made Potato fertilizer:-
1/2lb Sulphate of Ammonia
1lb Superphosphate
1/2lb Sulphate of Potash
Enough for a 30ft row.Apply at time of planting.
