Thanks Robbo, I am hearing from a few gardeners that some seed is not 100% this year, I have had a clear out of a lot of seed that was a few years old, but the Parsnips were both brand new seeds

Evening each, I have been practising with a new movie camera I have bought for my wildlife filming, I have done a few short clips in my garden that I have put on youtube for those who are not of a nervous disposition lol. This is one I like, a Curlew in flight is quite a tricky target with a long lens on the camera.

Thanks Westi. I have stepped back from a lot of forums that I used to be on, but now on the mend I've returned to the place which seems to be the friendliest. Hope you are well.

Thanks Monika, I am to have regular CT scans to monitor if the cancer has gone or not, next one is due beginning of August, hopefully they got it all out with the surgery.

Hi all, been missing for a while, life getting in the way, recovering from surgery after having a tumour removed from one of my kidneys, it seems it takes longer to get back up to speed when you get a bit older. Evening, after a recent thunderstorm today has been a lot cooler, picked the last of the peas today and did a lot of dead heading and light pruning of Roses and Buddleia. Eerily quiet with the railway line still closed after the tragic incident further up the coast, left a bit numb by it all.

Went for a short walk into the hills on a new route, very hot and bright so not a lot around, found some Red legged Partridges
