Re: A view of my garden
Another greenhouse video, this time to get closer to the plants I used my small Sony camera, which does not have a very good microphone, so the waffling I do is a bit indistinct(which could be seen as a bonus). Hope you find it of interest.

Just starting to appear in numbers up here this week, Common blues(which are not common here), Red Admirals and Tortoiseshells in the garden, not big numbers yet though.

Re: 2022 harvests
The farmers are already harvesting autumn sown Barley, never known it so early, the haulms on the tatties have been cut off too, all before the rape seed, most unusual growing season up here.

Re: Mid Summer Bits and Bobs.
I've had some of my best ever Spring Onions and the onions from seed are doing really well, including the red ones that often bolt, the leeks however are bolting badly. Thankfully we just had a decent drop of rain, won't fill the water butts, but no need to water tonight.

Re: Mid Summer Bits and Bobs.
Strong wind up here today, but still 22 degrees, will need to do some watering later as the onions look parched as do the carrots, the tops on a lot of the carrots look a bit burnt, have a feeling all is not well with one end of the bed where the full sun hits it. Already plan to put the roots into ...

Re: Wildlife photographs
There's a forest less than 10 miles from me where Bullfinches gather for the winter, 3 or 4 years ago about 50 of them used to hang around the track that cuts through the woodland. There used to be Capercaillie as well, but they have gone, I have found some, but they are about 75 miles away and I'm ...

Lifted my second early tatties, I'd like to tell you what they are but I can't remember, they taste nice though, what ever they are.

Re: 2022 harvests
They do look nice, I grew heaps last year and as my wife dosn't eat them I sort of over dosed on them, not grown any this year, just Broad Beans for a change.
