Re: Early Winter Bits and Bobs....

1980/81 winter I experienced the ice inside the windows thing.
We'd moved from a centrally heated wing of an Elizabeth an mansion to a 1950s/60s bungalow with an open fire in the living room.

M11 was shut for a while and the Stansted Express trains had problems near Broxbourne and Elsenham, plus the snow overwhelming the multiple grit applications put the kybosh on buses and coaches. In other news the airport itself seems to have head troub...

Re: Weeding advice.

Re: Early Winter Bits and Bobs....

Pa, you would refer to it not just plop a link in a posts text. Two posts in and with posts not reading very well and then an American weed killer comparison website, aka clickbait as a link hidden under a word. You develop a feel for patterns and the language used.. Bit like people are questioning ...

Welcome to the forum John.
I don't have any suggestions but suspect you'll be looking at the more expensive area of the garden centre.

Re: Leaking water butt

Assuming you're talking plastic, i wouldn't bother, I'd get a rlacement.
The pressure of the water will push the split apart, so unless you resort to a patch rivited and glued onto both sides it will come apart as the butt flexes.
