Re: Late Winter Bits and Bobs - 2018

Spent today adding another water butt giving me 3 x 200lt (600lt).

It was suggested though that when the water gets hot it can be harmful to plants.

Just ordered some seeds which are coming from Serbia.

Uk was 5 seeds 99p including p&p or Serbia 15 seeds £1.49 including p&p so went with Serbia.

Lets hope they arrive ok & are good.

Re: Slug free spuds.

Looking to get 20off 35litre buckets for growing spuds @ 2 – 4 spuds per bucket.

Any suggestions on easy way to water them?

Garlic replanting

I have harvested Garlic from last years (2017) spring planting.

I believe I can I plant them now and get another harvest from them?

If so how do I decide which are the best to use?

Re: Stupid, Stupid Me

You are not alone Robo. Was on the plot today when lady that ran the ordering came up and said my potatoes have arrived. I had completely forgotten about them when I brought some from local garden centre a couple of weeks ago.

Re: Late Winter Bits and Bobs - 2018

What a bright sunny day yesterday after all those high winds, even had jacket off.

Got another raised bed 3ft x 12ft finished, painted, filled & covered.
