hi motherwoman, I use 2 types of grit a rough one and a fine one mixed in with the layers pellets, I think it might be one of them just starting laying, I got some of the chickens from a local zoo and 4 others from a friend of my daughters so I do not know the history of them, we gave away 2 chicken...

hi Richard, thanks for your help, tonight I stripped the carb down completely I did not find anything amiss reassembled it tried to start it and got petrol pumping out of the exhaust, Ive checked all the carburettors I can find on the internet but I can not find one that matches, its probably a chea...

yesterday we had an even larger one it was a over 7.5 c.m. long, only problem was the shell it was very thin at the pointed end and cracked badly when handled it was twice the size of our usual eggs

egg sizes

is it only me that weighs the eggs my chickens lay, I don't do it every day but occasionally I put one on the kitchen scales, today we have the largest yet weighing in at 78 grams I know this is not big compared with some eggs but to us its our record to date

my rotavator gave up this afternoon just when I have a full half plot to sort, the engine is fine (briggs and Stratton 4 stroke) its the chain drive that's broke and its inside a fully welded case there is no way in apart from cutting the welds fixing then re welding

2 strokes can suffer with leaking crankcase seals which means no pressure in the crank case, also leaking gaskets on carbs will cause running problems, once its all back together if it still wont start take out the plug put it over a gas flame and get it hot put it back in as quickly as possible if ...

my green house is at home, I sowed most of the seeds around 7 weeks ago then when I went away I transferred them to my daughters greenhouse planted most of them out last week with more sowings this last couple of days, I know its early but I spend a lot of time in spain so have to take chances
