Re: Early Winter Bits and Bobs....

Think how cold it would be without global warming, they seem to have stopped saying we should have been entering an ice age.

Re: Early Winter Bits and Bobs....

If this is Early Winter what's deep mid-Winter going to be like? When was the last bit of proper Winter?

Re: Early Winter Bits and Bobs....

Planted 10 more over Winter onion sets in the greenhouse yesterday. Remember this? http://forum.kitchengarden.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=14064&start=75 When I planted the onions and garlic last week I saved some onions to put in the tunnel as they did well this year. Yesterday I counted them ...

Re: Cutting back strawberries

There has been a similar post recently that might be worth reading. http://forum.kitchengarden.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14137&hilit=strawberry I usually do it a bit earlier than this and leave a few central leaves if they look healthy, they are tidied up again in the Spring when the new fol...

We are getting great sprouts but I wonder if they are going to last the Winter as all my three varieties are coming together. Isn'...
