Yes indeed, they will be in the plan - I have been sent some bean seed from a pal in Germany called Stangenbohnen, they produce beans that are over 60cms (2ft!!) in length - wow! I am very envious of you all growing spuds, I have to give it a miss this year - I guess I could have planted into bags, but to be honest I have so much to get from Benson to Henlow as it is that I have decided they are to be missing from my plan this year

I am currently trying to decide what to start off in growth in pots so as to be ready to hit the floor running when I move on 7 May.

To be fair Kev, one expects Torquay to be warmer than Aberdeenshire at this time of year I lived in Boddam, just outside Peterhead - it was very bracing!
