Does anyone have a recipe for a marrow chutney

Like many of you I have just found a rather large courgette. I'm not a fan of stuffed marrow but I was wondering if anyone had an interesting marrow chutney recipe. I prefer spicy chutneys although any recipe would be welcome. Many thanks.

Nasturtium seed pods - can they be pickled?

Does anyone know whether you can eat nasturtium seed pods? I've been looking at them in the garden and they look so juicy, I was wondering whether they can be pickled and used like capers.

Re: broad beans

Being a Hungry caterpillar I can't wait for large beans to develop so I pick the pods when they are still tender, chop them up and eat bean and pod. Very tastey.

Re: Potatoes in compost bin are they edible

I dug up my blighted spuds tonight and they were fine and very tasty. I'll use these up first and then try the compost bin spuds. Thanks for you reply.

Potatoes in compost bin are they edible

The potatoes growing in my raised beds have just gone down with blight as usual, thanks to the very damp weather we experiencing in Cornwall. However I do have a large potato plant growing out of my compost bin which is blight free at the moment. Can I eat the potatoes that come from this plant?

Re: Slow Squash?

Hello everyone I've just joined to forum as I'm getting a bit depserate - everything is slow in my beds - infact everything is minuterised. My courgettes, peas, runner beans, sunflowers just aren't growing. I have to garden in deep raised beds which are lined with plastic as my garden soil is very c...
