Hi
I grew it at home with basal heat and a light. Now it is in an unheated greenhouse with fleece at night.
It's about 2 ft tall.

Gherkins again
Hi, I have read the 2008 posts about pickling gherkins but my problem is with only one plant I only get a few the right size at any one time. I would really like to have a way of pickling a decent jar. I wondered about freezing until I had enough but all that water doesn't feel as though that would ...

Parsnips germinating again
Help only 3 parsnips!
Last year worked so well with a pink napkin in airing cupboard. This year new tank and no heat so tried propagator with seeds in damp napkin in a plastic bag. Only 3 germinated.
Where am I going wrong?
Carrots and spring onions also not up yet.
Any ideas?

Kittens in proagator!
Read somewhere that I should take lid off propagator once seedlings were up. So took lid off mine. Came home to find kitties asleep in the half that was empty - only 2 seddlings survived. Wish I had had time to take a picture though. Kittens are flourishing!!!

Today I planted a rosa rugosa hedge on a bank so not too damp, some more broad beans and fingers crossed some swift pots in potato growing sacks in greenhouse mushroom compoast on bottom and rgeularr on top. ...

My Aubergine Seedlings
Feeling smug took my 5 aubergine seedlings out of propagator and put them on the radiator for a bit more light in the day.
Kitten knocked them off and broke all but one.
Thinking of putting kitten in propagator but fear it would love it!
