My growbags had tomatoes in them last year and they got blight. I know I can't grow tomatoes in them again this year, but was wondering about using the soil for salads. If the blight is still in the soil could the spores migrate to this years tomato plants if they are growing in new growbags nearby?...

GREEN TOMATO SALSA 1 1b green tomatoes 3 serrano chillis (or another hot type) with seeds bunch of fresh coriander 2 tbsp lime juice 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp salt Put all ingredients together in a food processor and blend until smooth. Gooseberry bushes with no berries

Hi all, I planted some gooseberry bushes last year and they have grown well - they look very healthy with lots of leaves, but hardly any gooseberries. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anything I can do or is it too late now and will I have to wait until next year to see if they do any bett...

Winter Purslane

Hello all, I'm new to the forum & have been looking for info. about winter purslane. I planted some seeds at the beginning of Feb which germinated really quickly and are doing well, but I got the seed from a seedswop event that I went to and they just came in an envelope without any instructions...

Broad bean varieties

I can recommend "express". I grew them last year. I don't think they were ready much earlier than other varieties but they cropped really well and tasted pretty good.
