Re: Late Winter Bits and Bobs.

Good morning, Geoff, how are the seed sown Verbena doing?

I didn’t get very good germination, (only 12 germinated from the packet) but they about 9’’ 25cm tall now, so ready to go into the 2 litre pots and will then be well in flower for the Church fete at the end of June!

Got the Helichrysum in late this afternoon, so that’s another good job out of the way!
Want to get some more Charlotte planted tomorrow and also more Brassica’s.

Re: Early Summer Bits and Bobs.

I used to grow a type of Poppy called, “Hen and Chickens” for the dried seed heads.
And a Nigella called, Transformer, also for the dried seed heads.

Re: STRIMMER TO BRUSH CUTTER

Afternoon Compo, hope you are keeping well!

I’m not sure if all these different type heads are compatible with all machines…..I think it will be the threaded part that could be a problem but, they might all use the same size thread….or would the be just too simple!🙂

Been very busy for the last couple of hours, hoeing, amazing what area you can cover when conditions are just right….

Before that, I was potting on plants ready for the Church Fete….🙂

Re: A sunny glade

A lovely little snippet, Burnie!

Where one of the plot holders was putting dead mice on his allotment for the Red Kite, it now comes within 20 Feet of where I am working…..a very special site indeed!
