I wish we would get a few dry days in a row, so i can get on and clear a few things off the allotments. As i refuse to go walking on the allotment when it is as wet as this.

Well let's put it like this, i have grown a lot bigger ones out of other varieties of marrow, but they wouldn't have won any competitions.... :)

Dear Bert, Liberty are a very good long podded variety.....I think Enorma Elite are just just a selected form of Enorma, which is still a very good bean!

Not sure about the giant marrow seed.....but i can't grumble about the KG seed, as it got me £100 worth of vouchers... :)

I hate that, esecially if you have a tray of plants in each hand, so you can't brush the webbs off your face instantly.

I like the thinking on the Sunflowers, you would just have to make sure they get plenty of light if sown this early, as they will get very leggy if not....
