purple sprouting transplants not growing
I planted out my purple sprouting seedlings about 6 weeks ago and they haven't done anything since. They were sown in cells, hardened off and then planted out. Is there anything I can do to get them moving?

One of the sunflowers in the veg patch is romping ahead of all the others. At the moment it is 2.26m, I know it's still a baby compared to some sunflowers that are grown. But I'm laying down the gauntlet. Can anyone beat it. Mine hasn't flowered yet so it still has time to get bigger, Who's got the ...

Dear Skip I've been looking up onion problems in my organic bible. Could it be Onion White rot. the book says 'Highly persistent soil-living fungus. The resting bodies can survive in the soil for up to 15 years without a suitable host plant. The fungus is active when the soil is around 10-20 degrees...

I planted crown prince this year. One of the plants is doing ok, the others struggled with the low temperatures in may. I'm running a giant pumpkin competition amongst my friends and I have 1 Atlantic giant pumpkin which has set and is now starting to grow. I did pollinate it myself. The slugs are a...
