Thank you Primrose, can you tell me who markets Ferline ? I have grown tumbling tom this year with very disappointing results. I don't think they were affected by blight but the leaves have died off and the fruits are very sparse. My other varieties, Alicante and moneymaker have done quite well.

My Broad beans, aquadulce claudia, have cropped vey poorly then, over a period of three days most of the leaves have fallen off. Anyone have any ideas of what the problem might be

Has anyone had experience of using calomal dust to protect plants from clubroot ?
If so could you let me know how it should be used and were to get it.

I have noticed wood pigeons eating my neighbours peas. After she netted them the trouble ceased.

i dont know about the flywheel but when my merry tiller, 1958 version, wont start i remove the plug and pour some fuel in the hole, i then replace the plug and it starts without fail. bvest of luck

Johnboy, would you please elaborate on your 'milk carton protection for sweet corn' idea.
This year, for the first time, we had extensive rat damage to sweet corn. The rats were actually seen consuming the crop and damage occurred on almost every plot.

Hi,

I have always been led to believe that thick neck on an onion is the result of planting the set too deep.
When planting the top half of the set should be out of the soil.
Good luck with future crops.
